Well Hello There

Hi, so you found your way here, to my humble blog, maybe it was by accident (Most probably it was by accident).

I am a visual artist turned writer. I talk about my writing, other peoples books and occasionally I rant about – well, whatever needs ranting about – it’s my blog and I’ll do what I want.

I have been a committed Luddite for the vast majority of my adult life – but now – I find myself slipping inexorably (I’ve given up kicking and screaming) into the world of technology; specifically, social media and so forth. As a writer – albeit a late developing one – I now find myself with, nay needing, not only a WordPress account, but; Twitter, Facebook, and a BlogSpot.

It’s hard work, for me. I pine for pens and paper, telephones with a dial and that rings, properly, envelopes with letters – even if those letters are letters of refusal or commiseration on not getting published.

So here I am, pink, shiny and new; ready to be scuffed and scraped by electronic media as it whizzes past me at astonishing speed. I apologise in advance if I don’t keep up to date on here, I’m probably curled up in a corner clutching a lead pencil.

If you hear me scream, please lend a hand…I will be very grateful.

I absolutely welcome comments from readers, but if you’re going to be offensive or abusive or racist or sexist – please don’t return.

I may use rude language occasionally, you may regard it as offensive – again – it’s my blog and I’ll do what I want.
